Jon Stewart, most trusted partisan ignoramus

Isn't that part of the problem, selling this idea that you don't have to do anything? Anytime you sell people the idea that, sit back and you'll get 10 to 20 percent on your money, don't you always know that that's going to be a lie. When are we going to realize in this country that are wealth is work, that we're workers.
If anyone tells you that you're going to consistently get 10% or more is most likely lying, like Madoff was. But it's frightening to think that people can characterize Stewart as the Most Trusted Man in America, and yet he understands so little about investment. Not to mention his partisanship.

"Expert" politicians

These days, every politician assumes that because he has a driver's license and an ATM card, he must have all the necessary skills to run an automaker and operate a bank.

Barack Obama has exacerbated the problems

Barack Obama didn’t cause the problems he now faces, but he’s exacerbated them. What Obama and his administration should have done—and perhaps still can—is set aside other plans and focus almost myopically on the economy. Fix this, and Obama’s political capital will be nearly limitless. But fix it, and fix it now.
