A Survey of Chinese Peasants
Chen Guidi 陈桂棣 & Chuntao 春桃 have received a Lettre Ulysses Award for A Survey of Chinese Peasants (中国农民调查), which has apparently been translated by Flora Drew, although I can't find a published version. I thought I mentioned this earlier, but anyway, EastSouthWestNorth has much more on what they call The Chinese Peasant Study.
